General introduction
The units No. 5 and 6 at the Planta Centro thermoelectric plant in Carabobo state , was powered by Venezuela's Corpoelec has been reoperated from earlier 2017. In a release, the Corpoelec said that work on unit No. 5 is 93% complete and that it should come online in the second half of the year, supplying 400MW to the national SEN grid.
